It looks as though he might have fallen asleep right up to the point she speaks again. He stirs, straightening and blinking his eyes open again. "Hm? Caspar?"
His brow furrows as he struggles through what she's just said to him. In those few minutes he looks old, older than he actually is, and confused. For a moment it looks like he might not know where he is at all, but the hint of fear in his face is soon hidden behind a smile.
He dithers over what to say next, eventually hazarding, "Is he an old love?"
