The captain gives a shrug. What can you do? It's probably a more polite answer than 'I know' because really, a chance to dress up and impress people? Jim's ego can't get enough of the looks he gets. Who is Jim Kirk fooling?
"Ah, not much of a party person huh?" Jim moves over to where Adia is sitting and takes a seat so that he's not looking down on her the entire time they're talking. "I'm...yeah, I mean, it's enjoyable."
The captain rubs at the back of his neck though.
"I don't know a thing about magic though, and I gotta be honest, I'm way out of my depth here."
