She smiles brightly, buoyed by his enthusiasm. "Viatorus mentioned that one of his relatives was looking for a way to quantify the energy used in your magic. Was it you? I know you don't have much time for your studies, but if there's something you'd like to study in the Nexus, you should use the center once it's open." It's his family's money paying for it, after all. But she wants to make it explicitly clear that he's welcome, especially since it sounds like he could use a break now and then.
Slipping her hand into the crook of his arm, she keeps pace so that they can make a smooth exit. His comment on the weather makes her giggle. "You should tell them that there's an app for that," she says, amused. Her gaze drops back to his sash to take note of the chevrons. "We have seers... well, people who claim to be seers, on my world. May I ask what those notable matters were? Or is that private?" She's naturally curious about his abilities, but she wouldn't dream of asking him for any visions of the future. Partly because it would be rude, and partly because she's not sure she wants to know.
