Stathis frowns, but takes the crystal. He looks warily between Naugus and Vercor, as if wondering if they're conspiring in his absence, but without a word he leaves to do as he's been asked.
Vercor turns to Naugus again. "Steward of something so powerful. Is guarding magical artefacts part of your responsibilities as sorcerer supreme? Or simply a personal interest?"
