The Archon is a listener. This is an impression Felix had acquired in his long-range observations but it's reinforced tenfold in person. There are those who will rush to speak up and butt in with their thoughts and (for better or worse) supply half your side of the conversation for you. A man who listens without betraying his thoughts and takes in every slip and nuance is much more dangerous, in Felix's opinion.
