The list of uses for magic in a military role has the Archon's full attention. There are differences between the wars on his world and Felix's, but it is interesting to hear of nonetheless.
He waits until Felix and Jim have both finished before he speaks again. If he didn't have the important position it would be easy to imagine him getting interrupted or dismissed in the heart of a conversation.
"You are both welcome guests," he says then. "The conversations between a man from a world of science and a man from a world of magic must be quite interesting. To see two sides of a subject is something too few strive to seek."
He leaves a moment of silence as he looks between them and considers them both. "What conclusions have you come to about science and magic? Can science be used to quantify magic? Can magic be used to build upon scientific findings?"
