At least someone seems agreeable in this situation other than Felix.
The captain turns sharp attention up to the Archon and follows Felix's lead in tucking his arm in front of himself and giving a bow of his own. He's been in diplomatic situations enough to know that his own discomfort matters little in this moment and that the weight of his actions no matter how small may have consequences to more than just himself.
"It is an honor, sir." Jim doesn't have much to say on his own just yet. Look he's just barely holding himself together right this second and trying not to stick his foot in his mouth before they've even begun.
Felix could have told him this was what he had in mind. Stop thinking of how to get back at him later, Jim. He has to make it through this, first.
