For a man so accustomed to lying and hiding away the pain and troubles he carries with him Jim is a remarkably easy man to read in times like this when he's truly happy and honestly content. Clearly he's unaware just how obvious he'd been because he coughs back a startled laugh and ducks his head just a little bit.
Congratulations Adia, not many people can make Captain Kirk blush. He's smiling though, so it's not a bad thing.
