His lack of interest in the numerical side of science is met with a sympathetic smile. Even for her, that aspect of her work is a means to an end, the tedious labor one goes through to get to the good stuff. What's important is that her invitation is well-received. "You haven't been before? It's..." She trails off and laughs. "It defies description. Unless you're into science-fiction or fantasy and then it's a little easier to get used to. I can show you around, when you visit."

Likewise, Adia is grateful that Oraskis has crossed her path. She had been feeling lost, a magic-less refugee in a sea of wealthy mages. Oraskis has gone a long way to making her feel at ease. She listens attentively to his explanation. They sound rather interesting to her, but without much knowledge of his family, she has no way to ask any specific questions. At least there's geography to fall back upon. "Where's Nepal? Is that far from here?"
