It's his family's money paying for it, after all. But she wants to make it explicitly clear that he's welcome, especially since it sounds like he could use a break now and then.

Slipping her hand into the crook of his arm, she keeps pace so that they can make a smooth exit. His comment on the weather makes her giggle.
