It's impossible to miss Harrowheart at any sort of gathering, Jim has come to learn. His undead friend stands out in all manners--a striking personality, a downright intimidating look, and a truly unique magical style that is all his own.
And yet.
It takes until nearly dinner before Jim notices him and the blue-clad woman at his side. He says nothing for the moment but murmurs quietly to Felix. Misses the look Felix gives across the table that isn't quite Felix's usual smile. When the festivities truly begin Harrowheart will be the first person Jim seeks out.
"Damn Harrow. You clean up really well." Jim beams a very honest and very Iowa Countryboy smile his longtime friend's way and reaches to embrace him in a one armed hug. "You look fantastic. And, I'm sorry miss. I don't believe we've met. Are you Harrow's date for the evening?" Jim offers a small bow Anna's way and extends his hand to greet her. Should she take it he will bring it up to his face and kiss the back of it gently before letting it fall to her side.
"It's good to see a familiar face around here. I'm in wayyyy over my head here."
