That grin is making Jim's eyebrows raise. What sort of trouble has Felix found for them to stick their noses into? They hardly want to cause a scandal at such a grand event, surely.
But, oh. Ohh. Felix is leaning in very close now. A drop in his tone of voice that Jim knows will be the death of him some day. How could he deny Felix anything and especially something like this?
He's a little surprised though. Jim would have suspected Felix would be far too busy for those sorts of things tonight.
"Mm, that does sound rather serious." Urgent matters indeed. "It would only be right for me to lend a hand." He'll follow Felix's lead with more haste now, weaving through the crowds. Jim feels like he could tease Felix about being impatient, but his mind has gone to wondering just what kind of urgent matter they're to be dealing with and frankly the image is pleasantly distracting enough to keep Jim quiet.
